how life changes

A long time has passed since my last posting. I felt inspired lately, watching my kids do and say amazing things. Ima is about 20 months and is speaking in semi-broken sentences, saying the likes of:
'i don't want to...do neenee'
'canihaveit.......peees?'
'im tired'
'eat........yogurt........peaches'
'ibu..canihaveit........ball?'

and more, but mostly it's so amazing to see him interact with his older brother. they are inseparable. we try to separate them occasionally for hours, the goal being an overnight apart, but usually after 4-5 hours, Ibu is crying, missing his little brother. Meanwhile, Ima is getting down to work on his train track, without any distractions. It's so natural for kids to have company like this, that I just pray they are this close and caring with each other for life. We are trying to instill life-long values of respect, sharing, and individuality. It has also been amazing to watch Ima skip a lot of whta Ibu went through, simply because he is a younger sibling.

until later.....
